G.Projector 3 — Map Projection Explorer


Publications that have been useful in developing G.Projector include the following. But note that that this reference list is (probably) not complete.

Most references include the equations for forward projection transformation equations for at most a handful of projections. Some (e.g., publications by Snyder or Evenden) include such equations for many. But most do not include the inverse transformation equations.

For publications that were of particularly helpful use in addressing multiple projections, we note the several books by Snyder as well as the general inverse paper by Ipbüker and Bildirici (2002).
