Stothers, R., 1970: Astrophysical exclusion of photon-neutrino weak coupling. Phys. Rev. D, 2, 1417-1418, doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.2.1417.

The photon-neutrino coupling theory of weak interactions as presented by Bandyopadhyay is definitely excluded by the astrophysical data for white dwarfs. Furthermore, it is impossible to adjust the photon-neutrino coupling constant so as to reproduce simultaneously the pertinent astrophysical data for white dwarfs and red supergiants.
