The astrophysical arguments presented y Bandyopadhyay and Ray Chaudhuri against the author's negative result of a test of Bandyopadhyay's theory of photon-neutrino coupling are shown to be incorrect or irrelevant. The evidence adduced by them as supposedly favoring the theory is actually evidence against it, when properly examined.
