The biennial Summit assembled the SSC, three panels, agency program managers, project office, and invited speakers for a series of plenary and breakout sessions to explore emerging and priority topics identified by the SSC and panels this spring. The summit discussed updates on US climate science enterprise and evolving agency priorities to provide context for community planning, organized plenary science sessions to consider timely topics of interest spanning the program, and held Panel breakouts to address pressing science questions and identify action items to advance US CLIVAR community activities.
