Modified Robert-Bonamy (MRB) and Refined Robert-Bonamy (RRB) calculations of half-widths of OCS in collision with N2, O2, and OCS were made at 200 (215 for OCS-OCS), 250, 296, and 350 K for J" = 0 to 96 for the R-branch transitions of Σ-Σ vibrational bands. The MRB method correctly evaluates the average required in applying the cumulant expansion, which has the effect of greatly reducing the size of the matrices when line coupling is included in the calculations. In the RRB method, the isolated line approximation is not made, allowing the effects of line coupling to be included in the calculations as well as the calculation of the entire relaxation matrix, W, whose diagonal elements correspond to the calculated halfwidths. For each collision system, the atom-atom parameters were adjusted to give results in better agreement with measurement. Using the W-matrix, the first-order Rosenkranz coefficients were determined for each collision system. The temperature dependence of the RRB and MRB half-widths was determined for each transition of each collision system using the standard power law.
