NATO requires the publication of a book (with Kluwer Academic Publisher) to accompany each NATO ASI. If you plan to submit a contribution for a book chapter, please send an email with a BRIEF explanation of your contribution to Gorden Videen before you begin. Chapters should be approximately 10-20 book pages in length.
Contributors MUST use either the LATEX or Word templates given
Latex style file: crckapb.sty
Chapter 1 of the book is available here. The corresponding .doc file was created using the Word template above.
Special journal issues on a specific subject have traditionally been
successful because they conveniently collect in one place a representative
set of peer-reviewed papers describing the state-of-the-art of the discipline.
There will be a special journal issue in the Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy
and Radiative Transfer devoted to the subject matter of this NATO ASI and the
accompanying workshop. The format is traditional. All manuscripts will
be subject to the usual peer-review. For information on manuscript
preparation, please see a recent issue of JQSRT, or visit the JQSRT
website. Submissions should be emailed to Michael
Mishchenko, preferably in the .pdf format.
