Internships

Research internship positions at NASA GISS for high school and college students are managed through GISS's education office. Many are summer positions that are part of the Climate Change Research Initiative, but there are also opportunities for autumn and spring semester internships. Applicants for internships must be U.S. citizens. Depending on project requirements, the intern may be required to reside in the NYC metro area or may be able to work remotely.
